IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Resurgo Readers,

We are excited to announce that our magazine has decided to defer its next issue in order to expand our coverage of all-things salvaged.

That being said, we are now accepting submissions of audio (MP3), video (MP4), and print poetry and prose, as well as art (.JPEG and .TIF files only, please) in order to bring the Resurgo experience into the new media age and make your reading experience as interactive as possible.

Our submissions page will reflect this change within the next few days, but feel free to start sending work our way in the meantime.

We’re also in the process of expanding our editorial staff to include a diverse & eclectic pool of creative writers, journalists, critics, scientists & theorists, alike, to bring new perspective to our selection process and bring you the most dynamic publication possible.

The deadline for our first multimedia issue is Sunday, August 15th at 11:59 PM, CST.

The expected publication date will be announced as soon as we are finished selected writers and artists for the issue.

Dear Brody-

We really loved reading your submission and felt your poems were full of many lyrically inventive & emotionally compelling moments. Ultimately, however, we found it hard to isolate one poem we felt worked strongly enough as a whole, so we’ll have to pass on this submission. Apologies for this - we’d love though if you’d submit to us again after our next issue goes up! We found your work super exciting & we’d love to see more in the future.

Hi Nick,

I’ve had another read of your story and I’m having some reservations about publishing. I guess my emotions are getting the better of me. I know that the kid comes out of it fine and there’s payback BUT I also know that there are a few “god fearing do-gooders” who read the magazine and I don’t really want to get into a shitstorm of a debate in the comments section and have to pull a story I published. I know this has happened with a couple of editing buddies and I just don’t want the hassle.

I hope you don’t mind but I’m going to pull away from publishing it. Apologies for leaving it a while to let you know but it has played on my mind for this long. Sorry, my friend.

If you have any other stories, please feel free to send them my way.
